Elmari Wilmot

I am a diversified and naturally driven management specialist with over 25 years experience in the financial services environment. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with specialisation in management) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management.

Being raised in a predominantly entrepreneurial family, it has been a natural transition for me to take my experience and expertise and partner with The Alternative Board ®, whereby we collectively provide the necessary guidance and support to business owners in managing present-day challenges, growing their businesses to the next level, and positively contributing to the achievement of both personal and company visons.   

My aim for you as a business owner, is to build an open and effective communication system which develops mutual, constructive, and co-operative working relationships across business units and associated stakeholders (both internal and external). This results in a more efficient and effective alignment of all business resources which is noticeably seen in increased bottom-line profitability, improved employee engagement and a greater work / life balance.

I am a strong advocate for mental health and wellness in business. I also believe that South Africa will be best empowered through entrepreneurial participation and collaboratively driven initiatives.
