“Mobile phone towers that are being stripped bare have now reached crisis proportions and threaten to cause nationwide chaos.” (My direct translation of the Afrikaans article today on Netwerk24)
“Now when you hear ‘the system is offline’, it’s not because the system has broken down as claimed, it’s because the mobile phone network that provides the internet there has collapsed, mainly due to vandalism.” (My direct translation).
The thieves, committers of treason against society, that are responsible for this is someone’s father, mother, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, friend, are people that are known to the community.
When you know who these people, thieves, committers of treason against society are, and you do nothing to bring them to justice, you are just as guilty as they are.
You are part of the reason why mothers can’t call an ambulance, why children can’t access the internet to do their homework.
You are part of the reason why life is getting more expensive for all South Africans, the cost of data and calls increase, jobs are lost, people go hungry.
These thieves, committers of treason against society, sell their stolen goods to Businesses.
If you are one of these Business Owners doing business with these despicable humans, you are a disgrace.
If you are a Business Owner that knows of Business Owners that do this, and you do nothing, you are a disgrace.
The sad thing about this posting is that if you are one of the above Business Owners, you don’t care. You are selfish and stupid. (See my post on stupid people)
But maybe, just maybe some Business Owners will choose to do the right thing because of this post.
Next time you struggle with connectivity to make a call or access the internet, don’t wonder why. It is possibly because of you or your inaction.
