You are a Business Owner happy, comfortable with your business, and your personal life. No need to change anything. Great for you (not meant facetiously). But what about that nagging sense that more is possible? Have you heard this one, “of cowards nothing is written”?
Tolstoy said there is no deed in this life so impossible that you cannot do it. Your whole life should be lived as a heroic deed.
How heroic are you?
Do you live your life as if it matters? And does it show in your business, its culture? Does it show in your happiness and comfort?
If you don’t believe that you can be heroic and make a difference in this world, you are right. You can’t.
If you believe that you and your business, notwithstanding that you are happy, comfortable with your business, and your personal life, are victims of circumstances, the system we all find ourselves in and that you cannot impact it, you are right.
Think this is “cheesy”?
Billions have been spent on books about this. In Google type, “top business books of all time”. See those titles…?
Business is done with and between people. Business success, whatever your definition, is about people. It’s about the what and why of the Business Owners.
Success in business does not have a template, a tick box to follow.
It’s about having the courage to implement conviction, driven by a want to make the best possible difference.
Heard this one before, “The only difference between a rut and a grave are the dimensions”?
Are you happy and comfortable, or in a rut?
Don’t get me wrong; there’s nothing wrong with being in a rut.
The challenge comes when you have that nagging sense that more is possible.
