This year I also learned about CIA from @andybounds – Companionship, Ideas, and Accountability.
I posted about this before – I believe that Time and Money are the two most important things in life. We spent Time to get Money, and then we spend Money on Spending Time.
And we all get Time and Opportunity every day.
I am often told that the rich and poor do not get the same opportunity. I know.
Over Time though, and spending the right Time on Opportunities, the poor can have much more. So also can the rich become poor over Time. It’s all about how Time is spent.
And how Time is spent is a choice.
There is nothing more important in a business then its Culture. But too few Business Owners know and understand that they set the Culture.
Their Skillset, Mindset, and Activity (SMA), are what set the Culture.
Companionship, Ideas, and Accountability (CIA), are how they reinforce the Culture.
Both SMA and CIA involve Time and Opportunity.
There are 24 hours in every day – every person’s day.
Only so much – or so little – can be done in every day.
The mother of all problems is not Time.
The mother of all problems is how we spend Time on the Opportunities we get every day.
Business Owners will talk about efficiency, productivity, profitability. All reliant directly on how Time is spent, by everyone in the business, including themselves.
Business Owners should be spending most of their Time on Planning and Execution of the plans, but they don’t.
Time and Opportunities are not problems or issues.
Planning, or lack of it, is the problem/issue.
Another thing Business Owners don’t want to hear about. They don’t have Time to do it…
